Sextion8 is a Rock cover band in central Illinois. We also have the equipment and knowledge to add a little dance, country, pop, and metal to our rock shows. Sextion8 has been in existence since early 2003. We have made many changes along the way going through 6 singers, 4 bass players and 2 drummers. Every time we replace a member we have been lucky enough to find an even better musician. We have had Jeremy Jett as our singer and front man since 2006. Jeremy is an excellent vocalist and ranks up there as one of the best in the Peoria area. Jeff Eberle who is our most excellent time keeper, joined us in March 2008. Not just another drummer, but a percussionist with a good voice for vocals. Rod Cantwell joined the band in the summer of 2009. Rodd is an excellent bass player with great back up vocals. Our newest addition to the band is Scot Lykins. Scott is a rythm and lead player and brings his years of experience to the plate. Now to the old timer of the band. Dave joined the band in its infancy as a seasoned lead guitar player and took charge of the band after the founder parted ways.

It is our goal to keep the dance floor a bouncin and the bar tenders a hoppin.
